Golem is a small gray statue that has the apparence of a small man. Legend has it that he was the creation of ZaizenTamari Zaizen and has the ability to create ColdSteel Cold Steel, and it is said that he possesses intimate knowledge of runes, and the ability to etch, modify, and remove ColdSteel runes.
He was initially rescued from Zaizen's fortress by Matu, a warrior of TheAshari. Matu took him to ParadiseLost Paradise Lost, where he was trapped when TheSupreme sealed the gates. In August of 2007, he was rescued from ParadiseLost Paradise Lost by ShesuAshari Shesu. He is believed to have traveled with Shesu and Eve, with the intention of helping them rehabilitate ZaizensTemple Zaizen's Temple.

ZaizenTamari Zaizen finishes creating Golem.
Matu rescues NDore N'Dore and Golem from ZaizensTemple Zaizen’s fortress but during the fight NamirMohammed Namir is killed by Deathblade. Matu returns to ParadiseLost Paradise Lost with Golem and NDore N’Dore goes back to the AshariVillage Ashari village, leading the rest of her people who had taken sanctuary in ParadiseLost Paradise Lost back to their homeland in Africa.
TheChosen The Chosen in Paradise Lost, led by VictorKnight Victor Knight, with the help of Golem, build the three artifacts, the ZaizensCoffin Coffin, ZaizensPuzzleBox Puzzle Box and ZaizensOrb Orb in which to capture ZaizenTamari Zaizen.
ParadiseLost Paradise Lost falls after being attacked by TheAllianceOfHumanity the Alliance of Humanity. Golem remains behind. He and Jackal are the only people in Paradise Lost who do not eventually starve or die of old age as the millenia pass.
ShesuAshari Shesu and his allies enter Paradise Lost and rescue Golem.
Golem is able to remove a life-threatening rune on LaraCooper Lara Cooper's arm. The allies then go to ZaizensTemple Zaien's Temple with the intention of destroying him once and for all. The Temple is filled with traps, but Golem is able to disarm or elude most of these. Golem helps JacobSparrow Jacob Sparrow and AbdulOmarMohammed Abdul kill TheRightHand. Golem later adds important runes to the Deathblade.
