Deathblade

Deathblade is also referred to by the names "Death's Edge" and "The Edge of Darkness".

Clarification: The name Deathblade is sometimes used to refer to the bearer of the sword. The artifact itself, however, is the true Deathblade.

Bearers of the Deathblade:
Deathblade is an ancient sword, which was created by ZaizenTamari Zaizen. It enslaves its bearer into Zaizen's service, taking over that person's will. It grants those that wield it amazing strength and fortitude, and encases its bearer in magical black armor. Along with TheRightHand and TheLeftHand, it is the backbone of Zaizen's strength. It has acted under ZaizenTamari Zaizen's direction in attacks on ParadiseLost Paradise Lost and after the division of ZaizenTamari Zaizen it endured a long period of captivity by the AllianceofHumanity Alliance of Humanity, was hosted by MichelZolvolovitch Michael Zolvolovitch and then a shell, all the while working for the release of ZaizenTamari Zaizen. In the most recent conflict with the heroes of the August 2007 Campaign, the Shell host was destroyed and the sword is now in the possession of ShesuAshari Shesu.

Deathblade was broken in half in 1952* by AbdulOmarMohammed and TuraloOso, after they defeated its bearer MichaelZolvolovitch Michael Zolvolovitch in ZaizensTemple Zaizen's Temple. However, the concentration of ColdSteel within the temple reformed Deathblade by 1962*, and it again called for a bearer. An empty shell escapes from the HandOfGodLabs Hand of God lab in Siberia, and kills hundreds in a nearby village. The empty shell resonates with Deathblade, and the shell finds the sword, and becomes the new bearer.

1301 BCE
The Left Hand and Lothar arrives at Zaizens’ fortress with the blade and ZaizenTamari Zaizen makes Lothar into Deathblade who then carves an additional rune into the sword that ensures he will serve ZaizenTamari Zaizen forever.
1248 BCE
ZaizenTamari Zaizen sends the TheJackal Jackal, the TheRightHand Right Hand and Deathblade at Augustus
1242 BCE
ZaizenTamari Zaizen brings together Soren, Luyu, TheJackal Jackal, the TheRightHand Right Hand and Deathblade and attacks ParadiseLost Paradise Lost, where he knows EsamMohammed Esam Mohammed is in hiding.
1225 BCE
Zaizen orders Soren, Luyu, TheJackal Jackal, the TheRightHand Right Hand, the TheLeftHand Left Hand and Deathblade to kill all members of the TheChosen Chosen and retrieve a key to ParadiseLost Paradise Lost.

Deathblade kills CaelKnight Cael Knight, the current leader of the TheChosen Chosen.
1143 BCE
During Matu Matu's rescue of NDore N'Dore, Deathblade kills NamirMohammed Namir Mohammed.
1141 BCE
During the battle to divide Zaizen, the host of Deathblade is killed. The sword is taken by the TheAllianceofHumanity Alliance of Humanity and put in their vault in Babylon.
692 BCE
The TheAllianceofHumanity Alliance of Humanity begins to study Deathblade in their vault in Babylon.
691 BCE
While studying Deathblade in Babylon, the occurance of the comet enables Deathblade to take over one of the researchers. Deathblade secures the Vault and takes over Babylon.
689 BCE
Sennacherib destroys Babylon to take down Deathblade and takes back the Vault
56 CE
Seneca, as leader of the TheWillofGod Will of God and a powerful man in Rome gets the TheVoiceofGod Voice of God and the TheHandofGod Hand of God to converge in Rome. In this consolidation the Puzzle Box, Deathblade and the Vault / Research Center are also moved to Rome.
11 September 1943 CE
The AssociationoftheBlack The Association of the Black, using their gathered information, uncover the AllianceofHumanity Alliance of Humanity Vault and Research Center in Rome and acquires DeathBlade and try to remove it. In this discovery an Association member touches the sword and dies. Rumors begin to spread about the power of the sword.
March 1944 CE
MichaelZolvolovitch Michael Zolvolovitch, TuraloOso Oso, and AbdulOmarMohammed Abdul clash in Rome, Michael Zolvolovitch touches the sword during the struggle and becomes the new Death Blade, he is blasted by Abdul and disappears into the Mediterranean Sea.
June 1945
MichaelZolvolovitch Michael Zolvolovitch, having completely lost his war with Death Blade, follows Death Blades instructions and goes to Siberia.
TuraloOso Oso and AbdulOmarMohammed Abdul chase Michael Zolvolovitch (32) and Death Blade to Siberia.
October 1945 CE
MichaelZolvolovitch Michael Zolvolovitch in his last bit of humanity, throws himself into an icy river in Siberia in an attempt to save himself from Death Blade. TuraloOso Oso and AbdulOmarMohammed Abdul think he is dead.
May 1946 CE
MichaelZolvolovitch Michael Zolvolovitch emerges from the ice in Siberia, reborn as Death Blade.
DeathBlade begins to recruit and rebuild the Lost, building power and seeking a way to find the rest of Zaizen.
July 1948 CE
DeathBlade attacks the lab in Siberia established by VladimirTopesky Vlad to acquire the Puzzle Box but VladimirTopesky Vlad is not there. DeathBlade locates the Puzzle box and feels drawn towards a nearby volcanoe. There he activates it flooding him with the Zaizen’s knowledge, before he can complete the transfer TuraloOso Oso charges in, having heard rumors of Death Blades return and wrests the box free. Murien is altered to the use of the Puzzle Box but cannot immediately investigate. In a life and death struggle TuraloOso Oso looks to be lost, and AbdulOmarMohammed Abdul shows up at the last moment to help him because he was tracking VladimirTopesky Vlad and saw the attack on the lab and followed Death Blade. The two together manage to defeat Death Blade, snapping the blade in two and knocking it into the lava.
1962 CE
DeathBlade reforms, the two halves of the sword coming together, and begins calling for a master, fueled by the cold steel of the temple.
September 1967 CE
A shell escapes the Siberian lab of VladimirTopesky Vlad and kills hundreds in a nearby village. The shell resonates with DeathBlade and the shell enters the temple in Siberia and picks up the reformed the sword, becoming DeathBlade.
1968 CE
DeathBlade regained little from the Puzzle Box, but it remembers the KnightFamily Knights, as Zaizens hatred for them as members of the TheChosen Chosen, and he knows the Knights or their descendants carry the keys to his ParadiseLost prison. DeathBlade begins seeking the Knights in order to achieve the freedom of ZaizenTamari Zaizen.
1969 CE
The TheLost Lost, again begin to rebuild, drawn to DeathBlade.
4 August 1970 CE
DeathBlade, attack the Knights, in search of a key, he kills many of the Knights, chasing them off the estate.
14 July 1974 CE
At the old lab of the AssociationoftheBlack Association of the Black, DeathBlade encounters, TobyWyld Toby Wyld, PeterNorth Peter North, JosephCooper Joseph Cooper and [[RadleyQuinn Radley Quinn] and they start fighting over some of the items in the lab. This conflict continues over the next year.
1 March 1979 CE
The surge of death created from the splitting of the TheLeftHand Left Hand into Lily Barns and the Shapeshifter draws DeathBlade to New York.
DeathBlade, the Splinter, TobyWyld Toby Wyld, JosephCooper Joe Cooper Douglas (49) fight, with the fight in the Crowning Lakes home for the mentally Ill. DeathBlade escapes.
18 August 2007 CE
During an attack on a TheHandofGod Hand of God lab in France, Deathblade steals the watch from ZackGraves Zack Graves, crushes the watch and reveals one half of the ArkoftheCovenant Ark of the Covenant. ShesuAshari Shesu fights Deathblade and the TheRightHand Right Hand, nearly killing ShesuAshari Shesu with shared enjoyment for ZackGraves Zack Graves and LaraCooper Lara Cooper who try and keep him alive with their combined abilities. Deathblade wins, and with incoming jets on his heels, leaves, having obtained what he wanted, the one half of the ArkoftheCovenant Ark of the Covenant.
21 August 2007 CE
During the battle to destroy ZaizenTamari Zaizen, JosephCooper Joseph Cooper and Deathblade fight. Deathblade also strikes out at LaraCooper Lara Cooper who is able to recover from the mortal blow by the rune in her arm. JosephCooper Joe is able to defeat the body, and the sword falls to the ground. It is picked up by ShesuAshari Shesu who is man enough to not let it overwhelm him. He then uses the blade, with additional runes added on by Golem to strike at ZaizenTamari Zaizen in the final moments of the battle. He then takes the sword back to Oregon.
22 August 2007 CE
ShesuAshari Shesu leaves the home of JosephCooper Joe with Deathblade, Golem and Eve.
