Salutations,
First of all I am in good humor, both in body and mind, I didn’t want any of you to fret over my current state of being, especially not the young Master Ito. The state of things at the moment, however appears that they will be preventing my prodigal return to the fair campus of The College at Boston.
At current, my family’s estate, as minuscule and meager as that may be has passed down though the annals of time to yours truly. And thus, with my own bare hands must persevere though the labors of placing all of the preverbal ducks in their respective rows. Not the least of these Herculean tasks being to vanquish the dust dragons from the attic of my family estate, clean the grounds, release the staff, and conquer a mountain of paper.
I assure you all, as I did my erstwhile Asian living companion that I shall return like the veritable phoenix a flight or maybe more aptly the eagle returning to roost at my earliest juncture. However, that fated hour looks to be later than all of your planned departures.
All humor aside, however, never let it be said that the last of the Graves leaves friends without warning. I will keep bending quill to paper to keep in contact with you, and thus through my humble words and Jeremy’s constant vigil, be there in spirit.
Again I apologize for my quick flight. All of this has struck me very suddenly, and this, along with a broadening of my horizons while in Europe has left this humble bard without true words to describe the flood of the new that takes me at the moment. My mind quivers to uncover exactly how deep this rabbit hole goes, and I mean to follow it to its conclusion, or mine, whichever comes first.
Again my condolences and apologies and I wish you the best in your continued studies. I hope that the rigors that await you prepare you for a path towards truth. It appears that I have found mine, or, perhaps more accurately, returned to it.
Your Humble Servant,
Z. Graves
