With Zaizen removed, and with no true enemy to fight, [[TheChosen]] gradually begin to splinter along ideological lines. There are those in [[ParadiseLost Paradise Lost]] who see themselves as separate from the real world and believe they should isolate themselves within their haven of [[ParadiseLost Paradise Lost]]. This faction calls itself [[TheSupreme The Supreme]]. The remaining forces of [[TheChosen The Chosen]] retain their connection to the real world and their allies in the [[TheSocietyofSecrets Society of Secrets]] and feel they still have a role to play in protecting metahumans from persecution. By 1053 BCE [[TheChosen The Chosen]] are removed from power within [[ParadiseLost Paradise Lost]] and replaced by [TheSupreme]].
