Later on he observes the fight that takes place over the [[ShuttleofArachne shuttle]] in the Thames between BarclayLadner, [[Goreshade]], and FioIvanov that is joined by Mi-yen, [[Alaistar]], [[ElanaKozlov Elana Kozlov]] and [[RenjiYoritomo Renji Yoritomo]]. He sees [[DeviChaaya Devi]] standing at the railing, and acts as though he would like to talk to her, calling her "daughter". He is attacked by a man in a green cloak, but escapes and flies away.
Later that same evening he and [[Goreshade]] fight against FioIvanov who is in possession of the [[ShuttleofArachne shuttle]] and [[RadleyQuinn Radley Quinn]] but this attack is thwarted by a member of TheBlackGuard.
