The Kranze Test, named after [[LisaAckers Lisa Ackers]] was developed in the late 70's and perfected during the 1980s. The test is a simple dna test, usually preformed by testing the subjects saliva, that reports weather or not the person is a carrier, e.g. carries the metahuman gene. The test can be administered from a simple ph type strip rubbed against the subjects gums, or by taking a small sample of the subjects blood with an Agency Cell phone. Any piece of DNA can be quickly tested in the lab as well, but like any DNA test, the older the sample the harder it is to get a conclusive result. All agents are tested for the gene before acceptance, but the carrier gene is by no means a requirement to be an agent.
