Kelly: Nemo leads the way through the twisty passageway of the guild.

Jonah: Kel I can take the chats which I'm privy to... can you take care of the others?

Kelly: Santaigo says to Elana, "I am sorry about your thinks"

Jonah: (righto)

Kelly: (things not thinks)

Courtney: I didn't know we had this chat =)

Elana looks at him, somewhat gratefully. "Thanks," she says slowly. The stuff is useful, but I understand it was stolen to begin with. It's more... that I have very little ammunition in this new world with ageless foes... and ageless allies. And now what little leverage I had was bargained away without my sayso, or even my knowledge." dfn

Kelly: Santiago nods, "He did it to save the lives of your loved ones." He says, "I know that doesnt make things better. But his heart was in the right place."

Jonah: Fio says to Nemo, "So, if my blood is close to tze Lifesparky's blood, what's it good for? I mean tzere's lots of tzings which need lifespark blood to work... would my blood work too?"

Courtney: "I see that.... I know. It still makes me their pawn. I'm not sure how to be on equal footing with anyone anymore."

Kelly: "I think you are on more equal footing than you believe." He says with a smile, "Nicodemus doesnt come down and threaten pawns."

@Jonah, "i DONT BELIEVE SO, YOUR BLOOD VARIES IN SOME KEY AREAS, I DONT THINK IT WOULD BE OF MUCH ASSISTANCE IN ACTUAL RUNECRAFT, BUT ITS SELF REPLICATING PROPERTIES ARE FACNIATING, IN THEORY THAT SHOULD BE THE PROVIDENCE OF THE LIFESPARK ALONE.

THE LIFESPARKS BLOOD IS SPECAIL BECAUSE ITS SO PURE, YOUR BLOOD IS "DIRTY" IN CONPAIRSON.

Courtney: Elana smiles at Santiago. "Well even if all the problems are the same, you do make a girl feel better. Sorry for upsetting the assembled masses."

Kelly: "Senorita, your cute when you are angry." He smiles a charming grin, "you upset no one, it is we who should applogize to you."

Ann has joined

Kelly: I kept trying to invite devi to the chat, sigh.

Devi runs up to join the group.

Courtney: Elana smiles, "Hello."

Kelly: You all arrive at a set of stone doors. nemo gestures at the doors and you are lead into a large circular stone room with a silver cirlce indented into the ground.

Nemo goes and places the small sliver in the middle of the silver circle.

Jonah: Fio follows closely, keeping an eye on things.

Kelly: (please ping or something if you want to talk otherwise I will pause but keep rolling)

Ann: (The small sliver?)

Kelly: (of bloodsteel)\

Ann: (oh, of blood, yes, nm()

Kelly: Santiago cracks his knuckles. and comes to stand by Nemo, "So you have anything left in the tank Senor"

Nemo shakes his head, "NOT ENOUGH ANYWAY." He frowns, "I THINK THAT WITH MI-YENS ASSISTANCE WE WILL BE ABLE TO SET UP A RESOANANCE NET."

Santiago says, "Do you think that will work?"

NEMO SAYS, "YES, THINK ABOUT THE SECONDARY EFFECTS, IT SHOULD CREATE A SUFFICENT BASE FOR THE STRUCUTRE TO REST ON.:

nEMO SNAPS HIS FINGERS, "OFCOURSE THE STONE."

he takes off like a shot out of the lab.

Jonah: (Fio stays with the bloodsteel, wherever that is.)

Kelly: Leaving Santiago shaking his head.

Santiago says, "So, Senor, senoritia, I will ask again, and I assume be rejected again, but I would love to know where the lab resides?"

Ann: (I think I might be joining this conversation a little later than planned, but I'm nto sure about hte time difference)

Kelly: (They walk for a while should be fine...(I say hoping Bill is not super duper longwinded ha)

Jonah? Court?

Courtney: sorry, Court is thinking

Jonah: Fio waits for Nemo to return, and listens.

Kelly: np

Courtney: and was briefly peeing

Kelly: hard to tell thinking from no response in chat. =P

Courtney: Elana looks at Santiago speculatively (do I have any nonverbal indication of his intentions?)

Kelly: He looks genuinuly curious and charming and friendly, you know he is very good at covering his true intent.

Courtney: "Senor, I do not necessarily plan to reject you, but I am curious about your specific interest in the lab. Does it have some special meaning for you?"

Kelly: He shoots you a winning smile as you look him over.

"I know it will be Pappas's target, if I wish to counter the old bastard, the more information I can gather the better."

Courtney: "Why do you think he would target it now, rather than any other time?"

(she sounds genuinely curious)

Kelly: "The lab has been opened, I only make assumptions, but that sort of output of power will not go unnoticed."

Courtney: "Hm. So might I assume you plan to be there November 7th?"

Ann: "If it is capable of being opened once a month for decades, why is no one doing so until now?"

"Also, are you are calling the man you saw a mercenary. Why?"

Courtney: "That is how he was listed in his Agency file."

Kelly: You all hear a dragging noise coming from the hallway, and Nemo rappears dragging a large stone slab.

Santiago says, "But that stone has no more resonance?"

Nemo says, "TRUE BUT WITH THE BLOOD OF THE LFIESPARK, WHO WILL BE HERE SOOON ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. THE RESONANCE NET SHOULD BE ABLE TO ROLL BACK TIME, WELL IN A MANNER OF SPEAKING."

Courtney: Elana touches Nemo on the shoulder, then asks Nemo and S: "What is this resonance?"

Kelly: NEMO FINISHES PULLING THE STONE INTO THE CENTER OF THE SILVER CIRCLE. "RESONANCE IS THE KEY TO RUNECRAFTING.' He thinks for a moment, trying to figure out how best to explain. "WHEN SOMETHING IS USED IT SOMETHING, IT GAINS A FEELING, A BUILD UP OF EMOTION AND POWER.

A SWORD USED FOR KILLING HAS A DIFFERENET RESONANCE THAN ONE THAT IS USED IN CERIMONINES ONLY.

THE STRONGER THE FEELINGS AND ACTIONS THE MORE RESONANCE.

THE MOST POWERFUL ITEMS, ARTIFACTS HAVE A RESONANCE BUILT UP OVER CENTURIES.

Santiago says, "This stone was what Mi-yen brought the shard of the dark star to the guild in."

Courtney: Elana nods at both of them. "Thank you for explaining."

Kelly: Though its a useless hunk of rock now.

BUT NOT FOR LONG, BUT WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR MI-YEN TO ARRIVE TO DO MORE.

Courtney: "Does resonance get used up? Or did something happen?"

Kelly: Santaigo says, "Resonance drains over time, naturally, but it can also be removed if an item is mistreated, destoryed, or used in some other activity."

Courtney: "And I take it this was mistreated in some way?"

Kelly: "No, well Im sure the assault on the guild did not help, but its was centuries ago."

"Its resonance is long gone."

Nemo says, "SHALL WE RETURN TO THE OTHERS?"

Ann: What was the resonance originally from?

Jonah: Fio turns to Nemo, "I've noticed that some people can track me using dust from my blood... can you help me figure out why?"

Kelly: NEMO SAYS, "SHE COLLECTED THE ROCK FROM THE SOURCE."

nemo turns to fio, "TRACKING RUNES ARE SIMPLE BUT I ACUTALLY DONT THINK THAT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING.

he turns and goes back to the shard. He holds it very gently in his palm, for a few moments nothing happens, but then the shard begins to roll towards Fio.

"IT ACTS LIKE A COMPASS, THAT POINTS DIRECTLY AT YOU.' IT APPEARS TO WANT TO RETURN TO THE WHOLE."

Jonah: Fio: "Is tzere any way to block tzat? As you can imagine, it's very hard to keep track of every atom of myself."

Kelly: Nemo ponders,(FYI this is all happening as you are walking back towards the main room unless someone stops nemo)

Jonah: (Where's the bloodsteel?)

Courtney: (I do not)

Kelly: (It is in Nemo's hand)

Kelly: IT SHOULD NOT BE A TERRIBLY DIFFICULT MEDITATIVE TECHNIQUE TO TEACH YOU TO SHUT OFF THE NATURAL PULL BUT ANYTIME YOUR MIND WANDERS FROM THAT FOCUS THE NATURAL RYTHMS WOULD RETURN.
