Additions:
She is a very lovely middle aged woman who is very pleasant to most people. She's known about town as a singer from the North, specifically New York. Although she seems happy to be there with her husband, it's definitely his decision to stay here because of his relationship with Mr. Black. Blanche and Mrs. Black are cordial to one another but they are definitely not close.
