In the ensuing fight [[BastienKnight Bastien Knight]] is killed. In the chaos [[AylinKazi Aylin Kazi]] and [[JaidenKnight Jaiden Knight]] manage to escape but they are presumed lost.

While traveling though the deserts of Arabia [[NduluAshari N’dulu]] helps [[Thalia]] fight [[Luyu]] and as payment to that debt, she joins him on his quest. They meet [[JaidenKnight Jaiden Knight]] and [[AylinKazi Aylin Kazi]] and travel with them to the Kazi stronghold in India.
