===Life Summary===
As a young woman in India, [[Anila]] was chosen to be the bodyguard of the children of [[RafikKazi Rafik Kazi]] and [[GwenKnight Gwen Knight]] the leaders of the power Kazi caravan and trade route. Her dedication to these children enables her to go with them to Crete when they are taken in by their uncle, [[BastienKnight Bastien Knight]] who teaches them. She and [[BastienKnight Bastien]] fall in love, their two different personalities meshing well with eachother and they are soon married. Without abandoning her vows to protect the Kazi children, she and [[BastienKnight Bastien]] have two of their own, [[JaidenKnight Jaiden]] and [[VarenKnight Varen]]. The eldest will remain with the Knights while they allow [[VarenKnight Varen]] to be taken in by the Kazi’s. In 1266, however, [[Anila]] is killed by [[TheLeftHand The Left Hand]] who does so in order to get close to her husband, [[BastienKnight Bastien]] and attempt to obtain his [[RunicCodeBook Runic Code Book]].
