(I deleted the original Girls Mixer Party page - I'm pretty sure I'd created the link, but I never went anywhere with it, and there was the sort of general idea that it was a bit early. Then I realized I didn't really need it that early either... if I was wrong about deleting it, please speak up!)
Mrs. Black arranges this party to "show off" the girls, and allow them to mix with potential suitors. They have a meeting - awkward for all - beforehand with Mrs. Black where she tries to give them tips and encouragement, and then they go help each other dress and get ready.
