Description: Mrs. Black and her husband are the owners and operators of the TheStJamesHotel The St. James Hotel and TheStJamesOrphanage Orphanage of New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Black leaves the operation of the Orphanage, however, entirely to his wife.
Rose is a very devout Catholic(1). She attends Church <#kate: at the St. Louis Cathedral #> every Sunday, and participates in all the Church functions. She is the reason the TheStJamesOrphanage Orphanage is kept open - she wants to safe the souls of the unfortunate children of New Orleans. She insists that all the orphans attend Sunday service with her.
Rose, much like her name loves flowers, she maintains a sizable garden, one of the children's jobs is to tend the garden there. She displays her flowers on the front desk of the hotel, and everywhere else she can. When the garden is not producing, she pays an exorbitant sum to have flowers brought in.
