Revision [23847]
This is an old revision of HomePage made by JonahPetri on 2011-06-28 13:32:04.
This wiki will serve as the repository for all knowledge of the Superheroes world.
- Add a user-settable timezone preference for rendering recent changes dates
- Add email notifications when someone modifies a page you can see (opt-in? opt-out?)
- Add others here as you wish! If you want any of these badly, say so!
- From Kate: The brackets for making little side boxes seems to be a little busted. Check out Oct07R10 with your admin mojo if you need an example.
- <#jonah: Ah, this was an example of someone using strange syntax... The correct syntax is:#>
- The page you showed used a mix of << and >>, which the wiki was interpreting as you saw. We should fix any instances of this we see.
- <#kate: Thanks Jonah!#>
- The recent changes page now actually shows the last 50 visible changes for you, rather than the last 50 actual changes trimmed to the ones you can see.
- Fix the recent changes page to allow it to show more than the last 50 edits: <#jonah: Fixed! You can now change your UserSettings page to show up to 500 recent edits. Be warned: the more you show, the slower it will load!#>
- <#jonah: There's a new button in the editing toolbar, which looks like this:
, which will automatically insert a segment which will be marked in your color. No more messing with stupid quotes! Haha: look " ' ' " ' ' " #>
<<Text to be floated left<< OR
>>Text to be floated right>>
>>Text to be floated right>>
All of the current event stuff has been consolidated onto the Timeline page.

Looking to do some work on the wiki? Check out the "Needs Work" link in the header. That page lists pages which need some loving.
- Really the only formatting rule you'll need to remember is how to make a link. Enclose a WikiCase word in double square brackets, like so: [[NewPageName]]. You can make the link look prettier by specifying the displayed text after the link name, like so: [[NewPageName This would be the displayed link text]].
- Including the contents of pages within other pages is easy: if you want the contents of SpaghettiIncident to appear within a document, add {{include SpaghettiIncident}}.
To create a new page, you can create a new link from an existing page, or enter the new page's name below. If you create a new page, be sure not to leave it orphaned, without anything else linking to it!
