The Sewers, London
October 20, 2007 ?:?? pm

Peter walks to over to Radley

Peter: “The quarantine is going to get harsher soon, if you want to leave, you needs to do it now. What about the sword?

Radley: “Do you want it?”

Peter: “No I want it gone but I want your opinion.”

Radley says she’ll talk to people about destroying it.

More conversation happens here but it was not recorded

Radley leaves.

Duke joins Radley and asks about the ambulances and she gives him the information about the contents of the ambulances. Duke says “Thanks I have a promise to keep.”

Radley notices that a certain tall Asian gentlemen (Renji!) is angling to walk with her. She does not ditch him. He falls into step with her. They are melting into the city together.

Radley and Renji are talking. Radley buys a phone and checks on the following:

Golem: behind a threashold

Shuttle: Southeast and off England

Hourglass: On the move in London.

She alters her trajectory to hook into the path of the Hourglass.

Renji: “Ooh this looks like fun.”

She manages to cut it off before it gets to Heathrow and sees Deon driving a van. Renji buzzes the van in two and glares at Deon. Deon pulls out an Uzi and fires at Radley as she leaps towards the crate. Renji blocks the bullets. Deon teleports the crate to himself. She leaps towards Deon, firing and preparing to slash at him if he gets close enough. Renji attacks him as well. Deon teleports into an open field. Renji goes after him as does Radley.

Deon makes a call on the phone.

Deon: “Orders”

Other end of Deon’s phone: “Stick to the plan.”

Deon vanishes before she and Renji can attack. She checks out the crate, finds it uninteresting and Renji helps her open it and they pull out the Hourglass. The sirens are getting closer so Renji flies them off and up into the sky. She calls Grandfather and discovers that Rashne is dead but there’s no word about Farid. Renji and Radley are flying about Heathrow, but Renji moves out of the airspace.

Ra: “Is Nemo busy?”

Re: “I’ll check. What do you need?”

Radley motions suggestively towards the scimitar.

Radley: “I’m not sure if it’s safe to destroy and it definitely isn’t safe to hang onto.”

Renji: “Nemo does everything the hard way, but tends to throw up a lot of protection before he destroys items like that. I’ll still contact him if you want, but given that they’re flying…”

Radley: “It doesn’t have to happen right now. Can you take me home?”

When they arrive, she takes the stuff from Renji. They enter the house and Renji goes off to scrounge up some food in her refridgerator.

Radley moves through her house, keeping her next phone conversation from Renji as she goes and calls her contact at the Red Hoods, who informs her that the staff is safe. Radley asks for more details and the contact says she’ll call her back.

Radley calls Bob, who says things have been quiet, which is probably ominous.

Radley asks after the Magi scimitar and how he would recommend getting rid of it. He suggests a cold forge would melt down, behind a threshold, with guards. It’s doable, but would take time.

He asks why.

She says it’s just an option since it’s been so dangerous. Has he heard about London?

He says yes and wonders aloud whether it’s been altered recently. He does caution that with such an old artifact, she would need someone with a lot of experience so it doesn’t cause additional problems.

She asks about Ireland.

B: “A cloud of darkness descends” but the acquisition was successful and (something positive about a trade).

She asks about the genocide in Africa, and he says he assumes that’s the Agency’s coverup.

He asks about a shadowy presence she’s mentioned in the past and says they can now track it with glasses he will send to her home by tomorrow.

She says she’ll be in Iceland by 7:00 am, and he agrees to send the bot and package there instead. Radley says she’s annoyed that Nic is playing with her. Then she asks about the plane.

He says another has been manufactured and will be waiting at the airfield but all the special modifications won’t be done for a few weeks, so they decide to hold on that for now.

She asks about the hospital.

He informs her quarantine was lifted at noon. The last victims are still housed off. Press conference says public doesn’t have to worry. Most of the Agency is still at the hospital, but Redgrave is on the move and the director has left.

Radley: “To Atlantis?”

Bob: “Probably, but the Agency has been very careful about snooping lately so he’s not sure.”

Hangs up.

Radley goes and has a drink in her kitchen. Renji comes in and gives her a hug.

Her phone rings and she heads out to the bedroom again as the Red Hood calls back. Made contact with the Hood who has it with her (Eliza?) and she’s confirmed that it’s still there. It hasn’t been in eyesight recently but is safe. Radley asks that if anyone comes inquiring, to let her know, and the Red Hood promises.

Radley checks in with Hugh. She sees that he is in the jungle. She sees through his eyes as he draws “Ashari” in the dirt, and scratches it out. He is worried and angry.

Radley calls Deena, and it rings for a long time. She hangs up and calls Angela.

Angela: “Everything’s kind of okay except for a mysterious crashing ambulance, from which the Russian escaped, but he seems to no longer be contaminated.”

She asks for a number trace, because she’s trying to pin down who took something. It would be a metahuman. Radley backtracks a little, saying they’re too busy for this problem, but Angela presses her.

Radley says the last contact was in a particular field near Heathrow. If Agent Smith can trace it, he’ll contact her.

Radley says London should calm down soon, they exchange pleasantries and hang up.

Calls Deena.

Radley: “Anything I can do to help?”

Deena: “Agent North is investigating Africa as we speak. What do you know about South America?”

Radley: “It’s big and full of jungle.”

Deena: “Do you know about the Huntress?”

Radley: “Yes. Wasn’t there a problem with her a few months back?”

Deena: “Yes. She’s on the move.”

Radley: “Where too?”

Deena: “Heading towards Asia.”

Radley: “How?”

Deena: “She’s swimming.”

She marks the scimitar before putting both the hourglass and scimitar into separate thresholds within her apartment.

Radley, passed Renji, pecks him on the cheek then goes into the bathroom to think. Renji comes in with a beer (in a bathrobe), and reclines in the tub.

Renji: “What’s the plan?”

She is trying to figure it out, and he ribs her about planning too much.

He says he could get them to Ireland in an hour, but has no idea where “he” is. Renji suggests causing a ruckus.

Radley doesn’t like that plan and resumes trying to figure out her own. She says she thinks she figured out a place to stick her nose, but plans to stick it there quietly.

Renji mentions that Raven is on the way but moving slower. Santiago and Lucas are heading to one of Pappas’ facilities in Crete. They elect to fly to the Southwestern coast where Bob told her about the factory and then motorcycle in, and go to get ready.

Radley calls Bob to arrange the transport.

Radley rains on Renji’s style parade when she recommends wearing cammo.
