- Mi-yen and Hugh exit the sewers after fighting the Ox Wraith. They encounter Alaistar, Zin, Alexi and Sasha who are also passing through the sewers to the guild. They are met by Wu and Winter, but relations are tense at the Guild entrance because of past history between Zin, Alaistair and the Guild, until Omi and Renji show up and the groups are invited inside.

- After being lead inside the group runs into Asham and Nemo who introduce themselves to the group, they learn from Zin that the Wraiths are marshaling their forces and heading at the guild, though he does not know why, Mi-yen confirms that they are not in Louyang, and seems to think they are building a machine and will attack the guild to get it finished. There is some debate then an explosion rocks the guild, and they rush off to investigate.

- The group meets up with the captain of the guard, Virgil Belmont, and arrive at the southern balcony, to find it overrun with wraiths. They engage the wraiths in combat but are largely unsuccessful, they are forced to retreat, but Alastair manages to blow the balcony away removing the threat. Just as they are finished with that, it appears that the wraiths are now attacking the front gates and they rush to join that fight.

- The heroes realize that they are now trapped in the guild and that the wraiths have sealed one of the inner rooms of the guild. They move to the inner ring as it is the easiest to defend and discuss their next move. Accusations fly back and forth, and some facts are learned. They theorize that there is a wraith infiltrator somewhere, perhaps in the Alchemists, and that the wraiths are building a machine in the research chamber that they have sealed which will allow them to summon a super wraith somehow.

- The battle ended, the survivors deal with the aftermath.
- Virgil Tomo, Omi, Renji, Winter, Neru work on cleaning the guild, mostly moving corpses, both from the friendly guild members, and the thousands of Hollows and Shadow puppets that instantly dropped dead when the seal was put up. Tomo and Virgil coordinate the effort.
- Nemo, Chen, Devi and Raven starts the day assisting with moving the bodies out to be burned. But when they examine the machine room they realize there is more work to be done on the seal and spend the rest of the day working on the various runes of the seal, both in the real and shadow world.
- Mi-yen and Mustafa (who lost an arm in the fighting) are passed out, they are moved to guest rooms to recover.
- Hugh is no where to be found, he appears briefly to speak with Nemo, before vanishing again.
- Alaistar spends the day morning the death of Alexi, taking care of Sacha, and helping out where he can.
