Tomo is the heart and soul of the guild. He always has a quiet ear and a smiling face. The people of the guild confide in him more than anyone else. His perception allows him to pick up on body language and other signals that people often miss. Part psychoanalyst, poet and philosopher, he keeps morale high and the team functioning as a family. He enjoys target practice with his bow and can perform amazing feats with it thanks to his perception. He often can be found meditating in the gardens or in quite conversation with others of the nine about their problems, fears, or worries. It is mostly thanks to him that the 9 have remained sane and stable after all this time, and all this fighting. He often teaches at The Order of the Iron Thorn, at Virgil’s insistence that the men and women there are more than just warriors. He is also the Librarian of the guild, and besides Nemo has the best idea of all the things contained within the walls, and how it all works. He is the only one really alive from the time before the trouble who remembers all the brothers that died there. Tomo though it all remains alone though, he doesn’t like fighting and prefers to attack from a distance where he can be detached from the actual fighting. He does what he does because he has to, not because he likes to. He is a strict vegetarian, and does not like killing and only fights the wraiths reluctantly. He has spent many years with Nemo and Chen searching for a cure, or a way to bring Hollow back from the dark place they have gone to. He has thus far been unsuccessful.
