Summary
The Order of the Red Hood is a small group, made up of around 30 women. Their objective is to assist women who are threatened or in peril, usually working outside of the law and using force to end potential threats or instigate rescues. Urban myth says that any woman seeking aid from abuse or danger can write a letter explaining her situation and post it in a blank red or pink envelope and that a woman wearing a RedHoodCloak red hood will come to her assistance in a following evening. However, not all of these letters are answered but the most dire seem to gain a response whether by physical removal of the threat or extraction of the potential victim.
