This war began over a dispute when new leadership of the TheWarriorsGuild Warriors Guild was determined after the death of Omi. After Black Bart was the last standing after the Tournament of Succession, finally defeating Mika in the last round, some believed that his victory had been assisted by outside forces while others deemed that he had been the victor and now new leader. This dispute divided the TheWarriorsGuild Warrior's Guild and left the two factions at war. Those within the TheWarriorsGuild Guild who opposed Black Bart included VirgilBelmont Virgil Belmont, RenjiYoritomo Renji Yoritomo, and Alaistar and received assistance from Miyen Mi-yen, Ryu and members of the TheOrderoftheRedHood Order of the Red Hood who had been at the TheOrderoftheSteelRose Order of the Steel Rose at the time of the Tournament. Those who sided with Black Bart gradually received the assistance of the TheAlchemists Alchemists Guild and their opposition discovered evidence that they had also assisted him during the Tournament. This discovery turned some within the TheWarriorsGuild Warriors Guild against the leadership of Black Bart as he had not achieved victory based on his own abilities, but by then it was too late. The strength and the resources of the TheAlchemists Alchemists Guild gradually bore down upon the opposition and led to the annihilation of the Guild as well as its most prominent school, the TheOrderoftheSteelRose Order of the Steel Rose.
