The Chosen is formed by BastienKnight Bastien and GwenKnight Gwen Knight in 46 CE for the express purpose of stopping ZaizenTamari. They begin recruiting both human and metahuman alike who have been touched by Zaizen, who is now known simply as The Corruptor, or the devil. In 50 CE, ParadiseLost is built in an attempt to shield metahumans and the Chosen from the Zaizen.
From 1000-1300 CE, TheGrandWar is waged, and The Chosen are hunted to near extinction. Zaizen’s power grows, and the world is in chaos as many lives are claimed.
In 1007 CE, The Chosen, along with warrior allies, defeat Zaizen in a final battle in Siberia. Zaizen is split into three artifacts, with a ZaizensCoffin cold steel coffin for his body, a ZaizensOrb cold steel orb for his power, and a ZaizensPuzzleBox cold steel puzzle box for his mind. In 1008 CE, The Chosen are prevented by TheAllianceOfHumanity from simply walking off with the artifacts, negotiations break down, and VictorKnight is killed. Chosen members escape with the orb and coffin, but the Alliance gets the mind in the puzzle box.
With Zaizen removed, and with no true enemy to fight, The Chosen begin to splinter. Those in Paradise Lost begin calling themselves TheSupremes, alienating the humans there. In 1095 CE, The Alliance's Jihad begins in earnest, forcing the remaining Chosen to hide in ParadiseLost, or be destroyed. The group fades away as violence increases during the fall of ParadiseLost.
